Will you put ads or links on our site?
No. Your web site content is entirely your own. Links back to our site are always welcome, but never required.

What kind of support comes with free hosting?
Free support is available to help with basic setup issues. We offer support services for a fee if you need help with your site content, data or advanced features. For more information contact us at helpdesk [at] pawserv [dot] com.

Why the odd email address? ([at] pawserv [dot] com)
This is to help protect against spammers who scan web pages and harvest email addresses. Simply replace [at] with the @ symbol and [dot] with a period and you've got it!

Who is doing the actual hosting?
We are. Pawserv belongs to Release to Production who provides dedicated hosting for business. Please see their website for more details. Rest assured, the service is top notch.

Are my files backed up?
Yes. Files are backed up every two hours to an offsite location and retained for 30 days. Full database backups and complete server images are performed daily.

Do you include a control panel (ie cPanel, Plesk)?
No. We are very strict about system configuration changes and require these be done manually ourselves. If you are someone who requires a control panel, our hosting service is not for you.

Does your email service work with Outlook? What about Mac?
Yes. Email will work with any modern mail client such as Outlook, Mac Mail, Entourage and so on. It supports both IMAP and POP. Also, all mail connections are encrypted so you can use it safely anywhere, anytime. There is also a web mail client.

How much disk and bandwidth do I get?
We have no set limit, but we monitor it closely. We consider usage on a case-by-case basis and notify you if there is an issue. We strive to help make your web site successful and we hope your site will continue to grow and experience ever-increasing interest and traffic.
